NEW PATRON THANK YOUS

The only reason I’m able to keep making The Young Protectors is because of the very generous support of readers like you on Patreon. And we had a bunch of new folks sign up over the last few days! So, please join me in sending out a very special thank you and welcome to the new members of the Woolfpack this week!

Branwen_13, Support, Matt C., Andre G., and Leo S.

Thank you all so much for your amazing support! You and the other members of the Woolfpack are all the real superheroes of this comic!

So!

So! Cory has been swept off his feet by a handsome shepherd! But where is the shepherd taking him? And once he gets there, what’s he going to do to him? And how is Cory ever going to get back home?

Ordinarily I’d say tune in this Saturday to find out, but this was just a teaser of an arc I’d like to create for you. Something to post while Adam took his break. Once the final colored page is up, I’m going to put up a poll on Patreon to find out if there’s interest in this story continuing.

I know I’d love to make this comic. While it has plenty of action and adventure, Fallen is a romance story first, much like Artifice. It’s getting back to my roots, what got me started writing, and it’s a more purely fun story. But we’ll see what y’all have to say. 🙂

Back to Double-Cross! With Chapter 2!

In the meantime, Adam is back again at work, so I’ve just posted the first page of Chapter 2 of Double-Cross as a Preview Page for $5+ Patrons. It will be available for everyone to read on Wednesday!

Curious what happens next to Flyboy and where he wound up?

Tune in this Wednesday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

  1. To Quote the thoughts of Our Friendly Blue Boy:
The road is long, With many a winding turn. That leads us to who knows where … … …
But I’m strong, Strong enough to carry him, He ain’t heavy, he’s my …

“New DragonSlayer. Why I’ll be the envy of the neighborhood with my very own DragonSlayer.”

  2. Klaus says:

    Now he is unarmed.
Post must be at least 20 characters.

  3. :joy:
I don’t know why, but somehow Cory’s very lethargic cry for help reminded me on the breathless almost frozen to death Rose from Titanic x’D
Yet at least Cory can still crack jokes :face_with_hand_over_mouth: Or maybe he isn’t joking at all  I’m laughing either way  I guess it’s because I have a good feeling about this even though I can’t really explain why yet

  4. well in a way he is now armed with a Cory. Which means telekinetic powers. Just that his magazine might be empty, shame.

  5. Ha!

    Maybe…

Things are looking up for Cory!

I definitely wrote it as a comedy beat. Glad you like it.

A fair point. But will the Shepherd know how to use a Cory?

  6. I presume that there is a reason for the goat/dino/shep- (delete as wished)herd abandoning his staff - did he need two hands to fireman’s lift Cory?

  7. aaaaaaaaaa i forgot it was a preview. but YES PLZ consider this an advance advance vote for more!!!
Blue Dude put his spear down! maybe that means Cory doesn’t have to worry… much.

  8. Exactly. He needed both hands to do that. And thought it would be awkward to carry both our hero and his crook/spear.

Awesome! It does feel like folks would like to see more. Not sure how I’ll release it, but I’m already working on the next script pages for Fallen. The story just gets more fun from here.
