So!

So! Spooky’s on board with keeping Flyboy on the down low! But those are some fierce-looking heroes he’s supposed to lie to. I get the impression they don’t react well to dishonesty. Will Spooky really be able to get them to “buzz off”? If he’s not, what will they do to Flyboy? And is Tom with them?

Tune in this Wednesday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

  1. New characters…
Tall too. I’ll bet that’s Merkava, one of ExSec’s best basketball players and/or up-near-the-net beach volleyball player

  2. Now of course those other two’s faces aren’t very clear…
IS THAT GIRL AMANDA OR NOT?!??!? x’D
Ever since I suggested we might see her a little younger, too, I actually WAIT for it to happen
I’m glad that Spooky believes Mitch for now though

  3. Klaus says:

That’s a good one. “Looks like you do know me.”

  4. Nate says:

    I gotta…

Superhero landing! She’s gonna do a superhero landing, wait for it! Wooo! Superhero landing! You know, that’s really hard on your knees. Totally impractical, they all do it.

  5. Wow. Uh, yes sir, what my I do for you. Nice pecs. ? Please don’t hurt me? To think that Spook’s is out and about on his own only THREE years after he escaped hell? Who’s a tough cookie you want on your team?

  6. Merkava is actually the one in the middle of the group in Panel 5.

    It is not.

And your hopes will be rewarded. I promise.

    Glad you like that, Klaus.

So impractical. But so satisfying.

Spooky wasn’t born a tough cookie. But he is now, for sure.

  7. Then who is the big bossy character who just did the superhero landing?

  8. dswxyz says:

I’m not sure where people are getting the name “Merkava” from unless it’s a Patreon patron-only story I haven’t seen. I can just barely make out what it says on the backs of their outfits, though: Deschutes Defenders.

Also, it’s wonderful to finally meet some adult heroes that have a good chance of being more worthy of the name “hero” than Killer and Hunter could ever possibly be.

  9. Panel 2: I knew it
yaaaaaay new people!!! living for that t-shirt and also-- wow @////@

  10. Thank you! Came on here to say the exact same thing!

  11. I have to ask what the backs of their shirts say. I can make out “Defenders” but not the first word.

  12. The back of their shirts say “Deschutes Defenders”

  13. Code Name: Overwhelming Force

They might be getting it from the script pages posted on Patreon.

Good to hear you’re interested in that. Perhaps we’ll see more…

Heh. I’m a little surprised (but maybe I shouldn’t be!) that the T-shirt is so popular.
