The Young Protectors: Engaging The Enemy Coda—Page 2

139 Comments on The Young Protectors: Engaging The Enemy Coda—Page 2

Good question, Bird Boy.

This was another great month over at the Patreon page! We added another 50 Patrons and support increased from $5900/month to almost $6100/month! This means we’re steadily moving back again towards me breaking even after paying my artists, rent, etc., and it again shows that we have the most amazing readers in the world here. You all are superheroes!

And, of course, I’m always looking for ways to show my gratitude to those who are able to support us in this way. So here were the special Patreon rewards for June:

(Click on the image for a full description.)

$5+ Patrons (even brand new ones!) can download all of these full-color pin-up immediately.

Also, as you know, for a variety of reasons, I don’t want to leave NSFW images up for too long on Patreon. So, I’ve started sunsetting some previously posted NSFW images by removing their links.

For June, this will be your last chance to download the NSFW Kyle and The Annihilator Pairing Pin-up by AKE, which $5+ Patrons can find here. After July 10th, I’ll be removing the links to the NSFW art for that. So, if you want to see Kyle and The Annihilator in this hot pairing pin-up, now’s the time! 🙂

And $10+ Patrons will be sent a high-res version of all of these wallpapers (including AKE’s The Annihilator pin-up) with over double the resolution on July 10th!

There are lots of great benefits to being a Patron (you can see them all here along with an explanation of what the heck Patreon is), and you’d really be helping me out if you became one too. If you’re enjoying our work here and would like to see it continue (and would like to get access to all kinds of special benefits),

please take a moment to watch the video on my Patreon page and consider becoming a Patron.

So! Looks like Flyboy is finally earning a bit of respect from Fluke—in a very Fluke way, of course. Nice to see these boys all getting along so well.

But now the question has been asked: how have Kyle and Spooky been getting on?

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

  • Saxon_Brenton

Oh Flyboy, you are such a wheeler-dealer.

    • Pietro7

It makes sense to me that his folks would be rich – and it’s probably not just inherited. His mom is probably a F-500 businesswoman and his dad is an explorer or astronaut or something like that.

      • Saxon_Brenton

Yeah. And the thing is, we already know from the way Flyboy does secret superheroing that he’s not a self-absorbed rich brat who expects to get what he wants simply because he wants it. He’s smart enough and sneaky enough that so far he’s only been caught once.
Dunno whether that’s something that he’s learnt from his parents by being deliberately tutored by them, by simply observing them, or by native instincts, or some combination. But it does suggest that he has an observant nature that pays attention to where the metaphorical levers are.

  • davefragments

I love the humor of this page.
    Good writing.

  • ComicBookGoddess

Actually I think that coming out was a very good thing for Mitch, huh? Of course, might be he starts to impersonate a lynchpin. 🙂

  • Nate

The snark is lovely in this. Only true friends can mock each other this well. 🙂

    • Chris Dangerfield

      So very true. Well said!

  • Light I love Mitch. ^_^ I want his lawyer for the team.

  • Mitch aspires to be Team Leader one day? ^_^

    • stickfigurefairytales

I can totally see him being a great one someday.

    • They all grow up eventually.

If Amanda stays a leader of young ‘rejects’ then some of the current could break out in a group of their own – or even later on go on by themself and become leader/part of other groups. Depends on what government will allow them once they grow older and/or proove themself.

  • Sapfo

Good morning! Oh these young guys. 🙂

    • Pietro7

It’s a perfect ‘youth’ conversation between older teenagers. Alex has a sharp eye and a very good ear. Reminds me of a certain young flyer. 🙂

      • Klaus

The ears of an author and the eye of an artist.

    • stickfigurefairytales

      Good morning, Sapfo!

  • Foye

I had almost forgotten about Duncan. I wonder what will happen to him?

    • stickfigurefairytales

      Me too!

    • Saxon_Brenton

His status is a rather obvious loose end to be tied up. I image this epilog will get to him; he may even be the major point of it.

    • ComicBookGoddess

Eh. I am certain an answer is forthcoming.

    • timemonkey

I assume first he’ll be thoroughly examined to determine if he really is powerless and mind wiped. Then the next step will depend on the answer to the above.

  • stickfigurefairytales

Yes, Mitch, do ask! Inquiring minds want to know!!

  • Squishy

    Kyle’s FaceBook status: “It’s complicated”

  • Wayne Lunkwitz

Kyle should have walked away…….but now he has to answer the question…..Hmmmm…….Maybe…..would that be an acceptable answer?

  • Neceros

So many possible answers to that question. “Yes”, “yep”, “*blush* yeah…”, “I- I think so :3”, “We haven’t talked about it, but probably”… So many possibilities.

    • Juliette Leroux

      And all delightful!

  • Jeldenil

    The gossip protectors 😉

    • Foye

      or the Young Gossipers

  • Shjade

Didn’t Spooky already give that a polite but firm “no” back in the discovery phase before the big brawl? Maybe I’m misremembering. *goes back to re-read*

    • timemonkey

I don’t think so, that talk was mostly about acting normal and assuring Kyle he’s fine and they still like him. Basically they were talking like buddied, the possibility of it being more never genuinely came up.

  • Okay, panels 4 and 5 put a very big smile on my face. 🙂 Love the interplay between the boys in this.

  • bronakopdin

Oh wow I love this page in so many respects xD
it’s loaded with text, that certainly has been a while in itself ^^
but I love Paul’s grins there x3 and Mitch’s “menacing” he certainly is not a kid anmore (though for a while I guess… we obviously talk about kiddy kid, teens are a diff species ^^)
and holy crap I love his direct question, could be me, honestly x’DDDD

  • Kate G

Ah, Mitch, you crack me up. “You know I could drop you in a mountain if I wanted, right?”

Ah, Mitch. Never change. Someone has to remind the others if they pick on you too much, you can dump them off someplace unpleasant.

    • Bei Dawei

Technically speaking, it seems to me that Mitch possesses the power to hurl the earth into the sun and/or moon. (But only at Mach 2!)

  • Juliette Leroux

This is the nicest cliffhanger of the whole story…

  • Klaus

Talking of Spooky: where is he?

    • John

I would guess with The Commander. Wherever she is. What happened there was Demons 101, and she was in charge, so those two are likely answering inane and repetitive questions.

      • Klaus

If you go back a page you will see Commander and Tsunami standing at the receptionist’s desk in the background. You will if you read the script, that is. Spooky is not there.

        • John

I did have to go back and check. They look so different out of costume. But I guess they’re doing legal-gaurdian type things. I still expect Spooky is explaining Magic somewhere.

  • ComicBookGoddess

I almost missed it. Primo idea to move Mitch out in front of the last panel. He’s standing in for us in that last question, and it is right that the composition encourages the idea of breaking the fourth wall.

  • Klaus

Just make sure that it is dormant, and the drop is not too high.

    • If it’s dormant it would probably errupt if Fluke lands in it 😉

      • Klaus

        And vice versa.

      • It very well might. 🙂

      • Kate G

HA HA HA HA. It would be just Fluke’s luck.

  • If Fluke only knew ALL Mitch has been doing prior to their big battle, he might be mind blown.

I think this page tells more than anything else that Mitch is still a bit new on the team, and that he’s had to ‘fight’ a little to show that he’s more than his background. We have seen how eager Mitch has been to move past it, and proove himself while the rest of them has been treating him like a liked but slightly annoying little brother. Damn ‘role’ to be stuck in.

He finally succeeded to break it (it only took a king of hell and a major world crisis). He’s finally their equal who can speak of ‘boys things’ and show that even as a rich boy, he can handle things – be it hero stuff or legal matters. Sure, he uses his parents influence and contacts, but that is also a way to know -and use- the resources he has of any kind. Amanda more than likely do the same with her mother’s and her own (and likely Spooky’s) military/government contacts.

It’s their contacts that is most likely to get them out of this square free (even Kyle and Spooky). It’s about using what you got to your best advantages.

    • Very nice analysis, Danish. Fun for me to read. 🙂

  • Bei Dawei

Prepping for a congressional hearing? Guess you’ll need that lube after all.

I wonder how the hearing will go, and what its focus will be. I mean, does the government really want to publicize the fact that demons exist, pose a national security threat, and can be bargained with by random eccentrics? On the other hand, there may be little evidence that any of this happened, except for strange flashes in the sky, a big pile of bones, and the dubious testimony of a bunch of people who were tied up in a translucent box the whole time.

Cue grandstanding by the chair: “I have it on good authority that there are precisely six hundred and sixty-five devil-worshippers in the State Department!”

    • Klaus

The Platinum Priestess is hardly a random eccentric. The existence of demons is not news to the government. How much the public knows is a different matter.

      • Bei Dawei

Duncan did the actual bargaining, after what must have been a few years of magical study. Granted, he probably didn’t just pop into a New Age bookshop…

        • Klaus

The bargain was negotiated by PP through intermediaries. The way she phases it, I get the impression that Duncan was not directly involved.

          http://webcomics.yaoi911.com/typ/ete-ch3-page-48/

          • Bei Dawei

Good catch. Anyway, we know Duncan was tutored by Sircea. I don’t think it’s been established yet how difficult it is to do this sort of magic, or how many magic users are out there. Mention of “intermediaries” suggests that there are a number of them. Also, we see that there exists a subculture of black magic users who, unlike our world, seem to agree on things like what to wear and how to do a ritual!

          • NoiseShaper

According to Sircea, she and Spooky are the only magic users in this world who are not insane. Although given her plans, her own state of sanity isn’t entirely sterling either.

          • Bei Dawei

I’d forgotten that! But it wouldn’t help the national security situation much, that the threats would mostly be coming from crazy people (or people soon to be driven mad).

          • NoiseShaper

            Indeed!

          • Pietro7

Very good point. Makes one wonder what species Sircea would trust enough to be her intermediary with Laampros.

          • ComicBookGoddess

We know Duncan was used by Sircea. Not much more.

        • PP did the bargaining, right up until Duncan took Kyle to hell. Then Duncan and Laampros ‘signed’ the deal made.

    • NoiseShaper

I would expect that the hearing would not be public for a variety of reasons, although there would have to be some public briefing of some kind.

      • Bei Dawei

You’d think that the whole subject would be classified, and that Mitch’s Mom’s attorney would have to have a security clearance of some kind.

        • NoiseShaper

At least with the scope of Mitch’s actual involvement, and he’d be bound to client confidentiality anyway.

          • Bei Dawei

Also, Mitch couldn’t have received a security clearance, and therefore can’t violate one.

          • NoiseShaper

Yes, but the state can still compel civilians to keep certain information confidential if for some reason they should happen to learn about it.

A security clearance is more about the state intentionally providing sensitive information to you afterwards.

          • There are a number of regulations. 🙂

          • Pietro7

Ahhah! And when it comes to regulations governing knowledge of Hell, the devil truly is in the details. 🙂 But what about all those theologians and other informed academics who have labored over weighty ancestral tomes? I have a hard time seeing any government making regulations stick there. Little thing called separation of Church and State . . . .

  • T Dibbler

    Yay banter! And important questions.

  • vexingmuchly

Despite the twists, turns, and cliffhangers we’ve had so far, I have never had this much anticipation for a new page to come out 😛

  • Klaus

People who use magic, even if only once, go mad. What about Duncan? He cast a spell to restrain Kyle, then another to take them both to Hell. And later another to open the Hell gate. The two first could have been him triggering the effect of a spell Circea had already cast, though that is a bit of a stretch. But the third was Duncan casting the spell.

    • timemonkey

I think the third one also fits into the category of ‘triggering a spell Sircea was casting’ She was clearly working at that ritual for a while before Duncan did anything.

    • davefragments

I think it was the “Grey Working” that drove magicians mad and not the causal use of magic. We’ve just seen Spooky unleash lots of magic — the laser bear, the giant tree/vine thingie, demon snakes, healing spells, immobilization spells, and in the first chapter, a Chinese Dragon.
I also think that magic users are very rare in the realm of these newly manifesting superpower individuals.
So Duncan being used to cast a spell or two by Sircea doesn’t mean a descent into insanity for him. I also wonder what protected Sircea from the madness during the first “Grey Working.”
      That’s my working theory.

      • Klaus

Amanda said differently, six years ago. http://webcomics.yaoi911.com/typ/ete-bonus1-page-22-23/ Of course what “they” say ain’t necessarily so. But Sircea said, right before the great fight, that all other magicians are crazy. Even if the Grey Working took place not much more than six years ago, there would have been time for a new generation of magicians to emerge. And I have the impression that it was quite a lot more than six years.

        • davefragments

I have to think on that.

        • LimpBiskit

I wonder if that only applies to people who try to ‘force’ magic, ie the people who aren’t born users… Sort of like the neurosis that supposedly affects people who were not allowed to use their dominant left hand as children, almost all of them develop anxiety or something similar to it as young adults/teens after the ‘retraining’ to righthandedness.

    • ComicBookGoddess

I second the the statement that all Duncan did was do the activation actions for a spell cast previously. Sort of like how the people in the diamond box weren’t doing magic – they were being used to activate magic done by another.

It seems implicit that something is different about PP and Spooky. A King of Hell calls him an “abomination”, and Kyle’s observation that he can store demonic energy and the cop’s comment about being born with spooky eyes… It all points to Spooky’s powers not being an accident, and somehow against the laws of Hell. As for the Priestess, she is clearly more than human, as well.

  • Jason Moon

Ah, kids today. They think the multiverse is their oyster.

  • ComicBookGoddess

It’s not luck when he deserved it…

  • Kate G

I never said Mitch would actually drop him, did I? Nothing like hanging him over the volcano to say, “Uh, dude, you do remember I can fly, right?”

    Fluke: -whimpering, sobbing mess –

  • Aitsuki

Flyboy seems to have a new power; changing the conversation!

    • Bei Dawei

He knows to shut up and let his lawyer do the talking. Some highly-placed political leaders have yet to learn that!

      • Klaus

The most useful super power for a politician would be the ability to keep year mouth shut retroactively.

  • Klaus

Kyle: Yeah Spooky, it’s strange, I haven’t seen him since that day. Do you know where he is?

  • Jac

    That smile. <3

  • Derkins

Bless you Mitch, for asking that. ^w^

    (hi guys! been a while … )

    • Klaus

Hi Derkins. Good to see you.

  • davefragments

OMG, I just saw the trailer forNetflix’s movie of DEATH NOTE.
Ryuk come to life (or death as he would have it.)

    • Is that the one where they have whitewashed it (making Asian role played by white dude -again), or was that a Death Note series?

      • davefragments

Yes, it’s whitewashed and set in Seattle.
It’s now Light Turner instead of Yagami. As far as I understand, it’s a full length movie. Lots of false starts with bringing this to a movie. I am hoping that regardless of nationality, it retains the sheer horror and creepiness of the books. . .
I haven’t yet subscribed to NETFLIX to binge the anime (37 parts). I bought the 6 books, read them, and gave them to my Niece’s son. She passed them around to her nephews and nieces (his cousins). Those books have been well read and traveled in my family.

        • I haven’t read the books, but I know the anime loses something after a specific person dies…

          • davefragments

The manga has an intricate & complicated plot. I have my doubts that the movie will.

        • T Dibbler

I have the manga in 12 volumes – different editions/publisher perhaps?

Great series though – I loaned it to my dad and he loved it too.

          • davefragments

            Yes, different edition

        • ComicBookGoddess

I thought it was a series?

          • davefragments

            This is a new movie

          • ComicBookGoddess

No, I had thought the Netflix thing was a series.

          • davefragments

NETFLIX has the anime cartoon (available now) and has produced a new movie (release date August 25)

          • ComicBookGoddess

Yes. From the stories I have been reading, I am surprised that it is a movie and not a series.

          • ComicBookGoddess

            I am disappointed.

  • Sascha

Mitch coming in with the hard questions for this cliffhanger.
    Been nice knowing you, Kyle!

  • Bei Dawei

Resolved: That since the Young Protectors are predominantly “straight-acting,” steps should be taken to represent the “Q” in “LGBTQ”–e.g. by having Tsunami try on the Commander’s bras.

    • ComicBookGoddess

Dude… nearly all of the gay and bi guys I actually know just act like guys, so…

      • Bei Dawei

But Tsunami doesn’t seem to be either one. Come on, wouldn’t you like to see him in a bra?

        • ComicBookGoddess

Yeah, with all the trans women that I know? Not really. Maybe if we had any indication this dysphoria was his underlying mental problem… but so far the story isn’t supporting that…

        • ComicBookGoddess

… Not really. I’d be too busy wondering if it would upset my trans women friends that I might want to rec the serial to.

    PAGE 1 – Meanwhile… Huey
(1.1) Panorama shot of a street elsewhere in the city, in the aftermath of Huey, Alice and the Silver Gnu having used the mind control ending cheesecake to free the shamblers in this area of the Headmaster’s control. Various confused people are wandering around in the background. Alice and the Silver Gnu are looking about for anything else that needs attention (The Silver Gnu is doing an arms-akimbo-looking-heroic stance). Huey looks downwards as his mobile phone rings.
(1.2) Medium shot of Huey taking the phone call. He is using his tail to hold the mobile up to his ear, and has a grim expression. In the background Alice and the Silver Gnu are looking on. The phone conversation is mostly a repeat of what Shane said last episode.
Shane (over phone): “I’ve got an emergency, and Louie needs your help. I’m on the corner of Kirby and Lee, stuck in the middle of the whole mind controlled zombie mess. What’s your situation, and can you get here?”
    Huey: “Hisss.”
(1.3) Medium shot, equal focus on the Silver Gnu, Alice and Huey. Huey has finished the phone conversation and is glancing about the street. The Silver Gnu asks a question, Huey makes a reply, and Alice makes a general observation about getting to where Shane is. Finally, Huey points out something that they can use to get to Shane’s triage centre.
    Silver Gnu: “Another problem?”
    Huey: “Hisss.”
Alice: “Well, things look kind of under control here. The roads are blocked with cars, so it’ll take a while to hoof it.”
    Huey: “Hisss.”
(1.4) Wide shot. Silent Panel. All three main characters are looking across the street to where Huey has indicated: in the middleground is an abandoned mini tanker with a sign emblazoned on the side.
Text of sign: “Custard pool. Bulk custard for party pool fights.”
(1.5) Closeup of Huey’s face. Silent panel. Huey has a big, satisfied, and above all goofy grin – just like the type of curly edged grin that characters used to get in Warner Bros cartoons by Chuck Jones.

    PAGE 2 – Meanwhile… Dewey
(2.1) Panorama shot of the office where Dewey, Matt, Ms. Business and Sukura Blossom Bloke confronted the Headmaster and his horde of shamblers. Thanks to Louie’s intervention, the building is restored and everybody is no longer dead. Everyone is standing where they were when the Headmaster detonated the top four floors of the building (episode 30, page 4) and looks slightly startled by the turn of events.
    Headmaster: “Wha!?”
(2.2) Closeup on Headmaster, who looks surprised and upset that the explosives didn’t seem to work. He’s holding up his arms and looking at the detonator he’s holding.
Headmaster: “No, that’s not supposed to…”
(2.3) Medium shot. Matt fires his revolver at the Headmaster, hitting him in the shoulder and making the supervillain drop the detonator. There is a spray of blood. Matt looks rather upset by what has just happened – understandable since he is a cop rather than superhero and this is the first time he’s died. Despite Matt’s nerdish love of genre fiction – including comic books – he hadn’t been looking forward to experiencing the phenomenon himself.
    SFX: BLAMMM!
(2.4) Medium shot. Headmaster has fallen to the floor, with Matt still aiming his revolver at him. The detonator has fallen some distance away from the Headmaster. Ms. Business is stepping forward with handcuffs.
Matt: “You’re under arrest! Keep your hands out where I can see them. Anything you say can be used against you in court.”

    PAGE 3 – Meanwhile… Shane
(3.1) Wide shot of the triage centre set up by the St. Erewhon medics. The unconscious Louie has been moved back to the ambulance, and is being given simple first aid treatment by Shane and Kat. Louie’s hellsnake physiology means they are being careful with what medications they administer. In the background Joel is helping the guy who had a heart attack, who seems better but still has an oxygen mask on.
Kat: “How are you holding up?”
    Shane: “A bit tense.”
(3.2) Medium shot of Shane and Kat, standing beside Louie’s gurney.
Shane: “You know how it is. You’re on top of everything, and all acting professional… Right up until the moment when one of your friends and family gets hurt. And then it gets personal and your emotions start to get in the way.”
Kat: “You want me and Joel to take over?”
(3.3) Medium shot. Shane and Kat standing beside Louie. Shane is rubbing the back of his neck as he tries to think. Meanwhile, Pete is on the right hand side of picture, and looking at something off panel.
Shane: “I appreciate the thought, but I think I’m the only one who can do this. Just be ready to assist.”
    Pete: “Uh, guys… Something’s coming.”
(3.4) Medium shot. The camera angle has shifted so that Pete is now standing in the foreground of panel, looking directly at the readers as he points at the thing he’s looking at. Pete is seen from the chest up, and has a ‘What the hell am I seeing?’ expression on his face. Shane and Kat are in the background, seen in full body shot. Shane smiles as he turns to look at what Pete is indicating.
Pete: “It looks like a tidal wave of custard.”
Shane: “Oh, good. That’ll be Huey, then.”

Camping! I brought custard pie with strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries. It’s pre-sliced and somewhat, ah, goey, so please use a spoon. (They are in the tray on the table). Nice warm weather, we can stay up late waiting for the page!

    • davefragments

      oooh, blueberries, thanks

    • Saxon_Brenton

We had a retirement party at work yesterday, so I have virtual leftovers of snack sized meat pies, a fruit platter, and strawberry and jam pastry mushrooms.

      • ComicBookGoddess

I… am still at work. 🙁

  • I am not sure if I will be camping…on and off stomach issues today and my lungs haven’t felt right all day. Less than 6 hours of sleep. I am tired and don’t feel right.

    • davefragments

You sound like you need a good night’s sleep.

      • I tried to go back to sleep this morning, but my not right feeling lungs wouldn’t let me.

Healing thoughts on their way to you. Also a secret package of Thin Mints! (Everything goes better with Thin Mints.)

Well, that’s one impromptu piece of handy-work done. Some time this morning someone dribbled about half a lite of paint over the locking/catch mechanism of the front gate at my apartment complex. Fortunately in the cold (but dry) mid-winter weather it hadn’t dried very much, so I’ve just spend 45 minutes scraping off the excess and rubbing away the remainder with rags soaked in eucalyptus oil. I’m happy to say it cleaned up much better than I at first feared.

    • davefragments

      That’s good it cleaned up.

    Hello Campers,
    Amarante Cordova talks to angels.
How’s it going in your part of the world?

    • Saxon_Brenton

Clear sunny mid-winter’s day that’s nice if you’re outside in the sun or hiding inside. Cold nights.
I’m currently recovering from a head cold, which I really want to get rid of because I have a wedding to attend next Saturday.

Mid summer weather here. Yesterday I was downtown to see a play and have dinner with my Niece and her sister’s girl. It was nice. Today I rested.

    • hot

      • It’s been hot here too. I hate it.

        • I melt.

          • That too. I have a rash on a chunk of my back–I seem to get rashes in the summer. It’s finally starting to heal, but it’s been hell.

          • Yeah, I can get heat rashes too if I am not careful. Like I don’t have enough that can make me break out in a rash, let’s add heat to the list… -_-

  • Bah! Last camp I woke to no wi-fi, and both my tv and internet was down, so didn’t get to check page for hours. This morning I woke up to a tablet that hadn’t recharged at all, because the power plug was somehow not working. So I have 2% power at the moment, now it finally worked (-_-)

I’m hit by a camp curse. I will be back to check a couple times while it’s recharging. Sadly my power plug is less than 2 feet long, so can’t use tablet unless I stand next to wall – like now. Bleeh!

    • davefragments

      You need an extension cord

      • Yup. Have decided that myself, since I’m tired of having to stand next to power plug, if I have to check something while charhing.

        • davefragments

I went through that a number of years ago. Now I have too many extension cords. What I don’t have is enough circuits with plugs in the proper place.

          • *lol*.. Except for having too many extension cords, the plugs is an issue here too. I have enough, it’s just the location of some. It’s an old house so placement for having more than tv and a landline phone wasn’t taken into consideration, and goo location for tv is barely thought of because two rooms have been made into a bigger one.

          • davefragments

I had my house built in 1979 and put lots of plugs into it. BUT, that was before the electronic explosion so too much is on one circuit in one place and not the other. I can’t toast and run the electric tea pot at the same time. It’s a little nuts when I have guests for dinner.

          • Having grown up in a ’60s house, I feel ya pain 🙂

          • davefragments

The electrician who wired my house said he never saw so many wall plugs and so many double switches in this size of house. I’d double the circuits if I had the place built now.

  • Page should be up shortly. 🙂

    • Yay. And I have just enough power on tablet now that I don’t need it to be in charger for about half an hour 🙂
