Nice work, Paul.

OK. So I have some bad news to share with you all and I’m just going to get right to it. Adam’s father has been sick. And this week his father passed away. As you know, we’ve never missed a page update, but obviously, this is an extraordinary circumstance. Adam very much wanted to keep things going here without skipping a beat (and he, in fact, finished this page up while traveling home to be with his family), but he needs to have his focus there and so I told him it was more than OK to take a few days off to do that, that of course you all would understand. Which I know you will. It’s not my place to get into any more details than I have, but if you would like to send him some love and support in the comments, I’m sure he would appreciate that. It’s a very hard thing.

Since this is officially a twice-weekly comic, I will still post up something for Wednesday, perhaps an excerpt from the printed book, maybe some behind the scenes stuff. And I’d certainly love to see you all there for that. But page 104 won’t be posted until next Saturday. Again, I appreciate your understanding.

In terms of good news, things continue to go well with the Patreon campaign. We’re now at $3285/month with 366 Patrons. That’s less than $800/month away from me sending out the Full Monty, NSFW Kickstarter rewards (and NSFW Sneak Previews) with full nudity to Patrons, and only $215/month from the Goal of me creating an exclusive Patreon-only pin-up/wallpaper. (Hitting that last goal would also mean we’ll have made it exactly halfway to making creating The Young Protectors completely self-sustaining. It’s amazing to think about how far we’ve come in less than a month. You all are the best readers creators like us could ever have. For real.)

There are lots of great benefits to being a Patron, and you’d really be helping us out if you became one too. If you’re enjoying our work here, think it’s worthwhile, and would like to see it continue (and would like to get access to all kinds of special benefits!),

please take a moment to watch the video on my Patreon page and consider becoming a Patron. 🙂

So! Fluke still seems to have some luck on his side, The Platinum Priestess is having a really bad day so far (could that be connected?), and the minions are dropping like flies. Does our team have this one in the bag?

Tune in next Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there!
