Their expressions really are great in the last two panels. I especially love Deacon’s in the last one. I already like Dr. Clarice Maven, whether she ends up on Deacon’s side or not. Sense of humour, and brave enough to sit in a room with him and even have a long, awkward silence. Sweet page, guys! C: I love it. <3

Love! The expressions are perfect an the mood, I find very amusing. I am not sure what kind of voice I picture Deacon’s voice being. Something flat an straight forward. Maybe like Sheldon’s in Big Bang Theory with a touch of coldness. XD Keep up the great work Alex. Can not wait for next week.

My goodness! I’m not going to lie, I was hooked after reading the first page! Deacon is such an intriguing character and he has only said about five sentences! I really like characters who can pull a reader in without having to do much. I’m interested in seeing how Maven will go about interacting with Deacon. I can’t wait to see how these characters will be developed and what more we get to learn about them.

Also, I have to mention the last panel on this page never ceases to make me chuckle. Here we have Deacon who was just deemed an “inhuman” killing machine with a logo on his uniform that has a smiling sun rising out of the clouds. Not to mention that smug expression, simply BRILLIANT!
